History of Msgr John J. Lettau Assembly #2596
The organizational meeting was held in August of 1999. In the following month a formation meeting was held and officers were elected. An informal meeting took place on October 25th and then on October 26th, 1999 Msgr. John J. Lettau Assembly came to be. The Assembly would hold meetings at the Poland Council Hall, on Center Rd.. The Assembly would be fed by Councils #4471-Poland, #11369- Canfield, #3813-Campbell, #11915 & #12756-Boardman. In July of 2011 the Assembly began meeting at St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Boardman, where, by the Grace of Almighty God it remains and thrives as an integral part of the parish and diocese. It is fed by Councils #4471-Struthers, #11915 & #12756-Boardman, #15086-Youngstown, #3930-Austintown, #15573-Poland. The first installation of officers took place on January 29th, 2000. Present for this occasion were: Vice-Supreme Master Baci Caprico, State Secretary John O. Welch, Master Paul Reham, as well as many former Masters.
